Frequently Asked Questions
How does escrow protection actually work?
When you pay for an order, the funds are held by the platform rather than sent straight to the seller. They're only released once you confirm you received what was promised, or automatically if you don't respond within the confirmation window - and even then, the payout stays locked behind the order's insurance period before it's fully withdrawable by the seller. If a dispute is opened at any point before release, the funds stay frozen until that dispute is resolved.
What happens if my order isn't delivered at all?
Open a dispute from your order page rather than waiting indefinitely. The seller gets a window to respond; if they don't, or if their response doesn't resolve things, it escalates for an admin to review and decide on a refund. Non-delivery is one of the more straightforward dispute outcomes precisely because there's rarely ambiguity about whether something arrived.
What happens if I received something different from the listing?
Open a dispute and describe specifically what's different - wrong account region, missing features mentioned in the listing, incorrect item, whatever the discrepancy is. Attach screenshots or other evidence. The seller can respond, and an admin will compare your evidence against the listing's actual specification fields before deciding the outcome, which is part of why accurate listings matter so much on the seller side.
How do I become a seller, and how long does approval take?
Apply from "Become a Seller," then request access to whichever specific categories you want to sell in. Basic categories are often approved quickly; categories requiring identity verification take a bit longer since a person needs to actually review the submitted documents. There's no fixed universal timeline because it depends on the category and current review volume.
What payment methods are accepted?
Cryptocurrency (typically Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT) is generally available, and Cash on Delivery where a category or seller supports it. Additional payment methods get added as they're properly integrated and tested - check the "Accepted payment methods" section on the homepage for what's currently live versus what's coming soon.
Can I pay with my account balance instead of a new payment?
Yes - if you have store credit from a deposit or a refund, it shows up as an option at checkout and can cover all or part of an order. Note that deposited balance can only be spent on purchases here; it can't be withdrawn as cash, which is different from a seller's actual sales earnings.
How long does delivery usually take?
It depends entirely on the listing. Listings with pre-stocked items in the seller's Storage deliver automatically within seconds of payment clearing. Everything else shows the seller's own delivery ETA estimate - check this before buying if timing matters to you, and remember it's an estimate, not a guarantee with its own separate penalty system.
What's the insurance period, and why does it matter?
It's the number of days after delivery during which you can still open a dispute even though the order shows completed. It matters because some problems don't surface immediately - an account getting reclaimed by its original owner a few days later, for instance. Longer insurance periods generally mean more buyer protection for that specific listing, and it's worth checking before buying anything where a delayed issue is plausible.
Is my personal and payment information safe?
We don't store full payment credentials in plain text, delivery credentials passed between buyer and seller are encrypted, and two-factor authentication is available (and strongly recommended) on every account. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on what's collected and how it's used.
Why does withdrawing money sometimes require identity verification?
This is standard anti-money-laundering practice for any platform handling real payouts between strangers, not something specific to flagged accounts. Larger or more frequent withdrawals are more likely to trigger a verification request. See our AML & KYC Policy for specifics.
Can a seller refuse to refund me?
A seller can disagree with a refund request, but they can't unilaterally block one if a dispute is opened - at that point it goes through the review process and an admin makes the final call based on evidence from both sides. A seller agreeing upfront to refund resolves things faster than a contested dispute, but it's not required for you to get a fair review.
What's the difference between Seller Level and Store Level?
Seller Level is based on a seller's total completed orders over their entire history and only ever goes up. Store Level reflects more recent sales volume and can move up or down depending on performance. Both are visible on a seller's public storefront alongside their actual review history.
Can I cancel an order after paying?
If the seller hasn't started fulfilling it yet, cancellation is usually straightforward - check your order page for a cancel option. Once a seller has delivered, cancellation isn't appropriate anymore; if there's a genuine problem with what was delivered, that's what the dispute process is for instead.
How does the affiliate program work?
Any user can share a personal referral link from their account. When someone signs up through it and makes purchases, you earn a percentage of that spend as an ongoing commission, tracked from your own affiliate dashboard. It's open to buyers and sellers alike, not just sellers.
Can I have more than one account?
One account per person is the standard expectation, mainly because reputation, dispute history, and verification are meant to follow a single identity. Using multiple accounts to get around a suspension, manipulate reviews, or abuse coupon/referral systems is treated as a serious violation and can result in all linked accounts being closed.
What happens to my money if a seller's account gets suspended mid-dispute?
A suspension doesn't make a held escrow balance disappear. Funds already in escrow for a specific order remain tied to that order and its dispute process - suspending a seller's account doesn't let them withdraw disputed funds, and it doesn't strand a buyer's payment either. The dispute still gets resolved on its own merits.
Do prices shown in my local currency reflect what I actually pay?
The currency switcher shows an approximate conversion for convenience, but the actual charge at checkout is always processed in USD. Think of the local-currency figure as a helpful estimate, not the exact amount that will be debited - exchange rate movement between viewing and paying could cause a small difference.
Can I negotiate a price directly with a seller?
You can message a seller before buying to ask questions, and some sellers may choose to issue you a coupon code reflecting a discussed price. What you can't do is pay a seller outside the platform for a discount - any payment that bypasses escrow loses every protection described on this page, regardless of what was promised.
